From a digital humanities perspective, it developed a long-term overview of literary translation based on the catalogue of the National Library of Uruguay. It also analysed the intersections between translated works and the publishing field, vernacular literature, international systems of cultural exchange and production, teaching programmes and variations of source languages over different periods.

The project was based at the Centre for Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Humanities, Udelar (Uruguay). It obtained funding from CSIC I+D funds ( Project I+D 22520220100017UD, Universidad de la República), during the period 2023-2025. At the same time, it was assisted by the National Library of Uruguay for granting access to the Catalogue of Works and for hosting the database and the search engine on its web portal.
